National Library @ Sinagpore

Went to the new National Library (see picture) at Victoria Street (just beside Bugis Junction/Hotel Intercontinental) with SF.

Wahhhhhhhhhh... so chio!!! 16 stories high! Very tall for a library. Looks very modern!

Anyways, me and SF when upwards level by level... the escalators are "power-saving" or is it I 'sua gu', it actually only starts moving when it senses someone near it. We saw many pretty photos being exhibited at the many stories we went to. In particular, there is this exhibition regarding this "I forget name" person with a darn big family tree. Very interesting as it showcases the family history, treasures etc etc.. darn, I forget the name of that family even though I visited the exhibit and talk to that man doing the exhibit!!! I have got terrible memory!

Well, the library as it's called, IS a library, same rules applies, books minus the musky smell coz' place is new, but the view is magnificent. The refernce collections are at levels 7-11... and all the windows..hmm i prefer to call them, walls are floor to floor glass panels, thus the so-called view! ^_^ Then took the see through elevator from level 14 all the way to Basement 1... almost puke ...>_< but the feeling was so like free-fall... man, I want to go ride a roller coaster (hmm, sudden mention of roller coasters sparks something...)

I don't think I will have the time to go visit the library sometime too soon... Hope I can go there again.. at least to feel more studious.. hee hee hee...

I have to help SF do something tonight.. or else she'll be unable to visit our junior college teacher tomorrow with me... sighz
